Two-Thirds of CBC Top 30 List of Young Classical Musicians Comprised of RCM Students and Alumni

The CBC’s “30 hot Canadian classical musicians under 30, 2023 edition” has been published and Royal Conservatory of Music students and alumni once again dominate the list
The 20 RCM artists named in this annual list include numerous pianists, violinists, guitarists and vocalists. What unites them is the experience of studying music through The Royal Conservatory whether it be with the
RCM Certificate Program – The Royal Conservatory's internationally-acclaimed system of extracurricular music study and examinations – and/or the professional training programs of
The Glenn Gould School or
The Taylor Academy, both located at The Royal Conservatory.
The
CBC article notes that these artists are “highly skilled, creative, disciplined, determined to make their mark in the world of classical music” and “we think they're amazing.” Congratulations to all of these incredible artists!
