Soundstreams presents: Waiting for Godot

This concert represents Arlan Vriens’s winning proposal from Soundstreams New Voices Curator Mentorship Program. He has chosen works by female-identifying composers and the program is inspired by our experiences during the pandemic. It focuses on attentiveness, opening the possibility for deeper contemplation, revealing our innermost thoughts, and acting as a catalyst for renewing artistic practice in a changing world. It highlights compelling repertoire in which Canadian composers have celebrated the small, the immediate, and the intently observed.
