Accessible features of our building

The TELUS Centre for Performance and Learning has been designed to be accessible to people accompanied by small children and people with disabilities.

Entrances
Two of the building's three entrances are accessible by people using mobility devices (example – a wheelchair, scooter, or walker) and strollers:

• the Bloor Street entrance on the west side of the building (Tim and Frances Price Wing)
• the Philosopher’s Walk entrance on the east side of the building

Elevators
Two elevators provide convenient access to all areas of the building.

The south passenger elevator is accessed from the orchestra lobby or student lounge and can take patrons to the lower or upper levels of the Leslie & Anna Dan Gallerias. Alternatively, the west passenger elevator is located by the box office, and between the concourse (C) level and level 5.

Signage will be posted in the event that one of the elevators is unavailable and patrons will be directed to use the second functioning elevator.

Washrooms
The main public washroom is fully accessible and located on the ground level, opposite from b espresso bar. Other washrooms are located on the concourse, level 2, 3, 4, and 5. (These washrooms do not have an access button; however, please ask our staff to assist you in opening the door.) In addition to standard hand dryers and paper towel dispenses, there are always additional paper towels available on the sink counter. Please contact security if supplies need to be replenished.
