Debbie Hultgren

I have a small practice (online and in-studio) based in South Surrey/White Rock, BC. My strengths: connecting with beginners of all ages and fostering a love for piano, music, and play...regardless of whether they pursue RCM or not. A lifelong learner, I've been mentored by some of the best music teachers in the Vancouver Lower Mainland, I earned an undergraduate degree in Communication and French from Simon Fraser University (after my A.R.C.T.), and went on to start a corporate communications firm that allows me to collaborate with companies on local, provincial, national, and international levels. My approach to teaching and learning reflects both of these experiences. I've taught kids of all ages and have successfully sent students through both RCM practical and theory exams over the years.
