Gwen Harrison

I have 19 years of experience teaching piano lessons to students from age 3 to 80+. Through the Royal Conservatory of Music I have completed my certification for Elementary and Intermediate piano teaching, Grade 10 Piano, and all the theory courses that coincide. In the past I've competed in the Agassiz Festival of the Arts. I'm very self-motivated, organized and dedicated to helping my students reach their goals! In my studio the program for each student is personalized so that everyone is encouraged to find and develop his/her inner potential. I teach using music games and practice incentives. I believe in helping my student to discover personal rewards in music enjoyment in music making, to feel confident of his/her ability to learn, and to feel that the effort put into music study is a worthwhile endeavor.
