Patricia Kast

I am very experienced. I started teaching both clarinet and piano in July of 1971. I was mentored as I continued with my own music education. In 1994, I joined the Music Teachers Association of California (MTAC) as a teacher qualified to teach both clarinet and piano. I find the frequency of RCM dates and the RCM materials and requirements to be very inspirational to my students. I do not have a large studio of hundreds of students. I teach a selected small group of students who I supervise more closely than you would get with a teacher with a large studio or one that teaches in a room in a music school. I take pride in my students both enjoying their music studies and the fact that they can become excellent at it if they follow what we work on together.
