Please indicate the exact dates you are available to conduct examinations during the Canada Winter 2022 Examination session, Jan 17-29, 2022 inclusive. Only indicate days when you are available for the entire day. Please allow one day before and one day after your availability dates for travel purposes, unless you are requesting a commuting route only.
Are you willing to travel to any centre in Canada?
Are you willing and able to drive a rental car around an examining route?
Are you available for regional travel (within your home province)?
Are you available for daily commuting?
Are you comfortable conducting examinations in French?
Examining materials will be sent out on Tuesday December 28, 2021 for delivery the following day. Please indicate where you would like your examiner package to be sent. Someone will be required at the specific address to sign for receipt of the package.

Travel Information

The Royal Conservatory of Music must book air tickets in your name as it is written on your passport/ID. Please list your name exactly as it appears on your Passport.

The Royal Conservatory Routing Policies

  • Requests for a specific centre or region cannot be guaranteed.
  • Attempts will be made to accommodate requests for commuting or remaining close to home for personal reasons when possible.
  • “Daily commuting” is done with your own vehicle or by public transit only. Rental cars, taxis, and/or hotels are not provided for commuting routes.
  • Centres within the Greater Toronto Area are generally considered commuting routes. This includes (but is not limited to) Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Brampton, Scarborough, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Newmarket, Markham, Unionville, Pickering and Whitby.
  • All changes of accommodation or transportation must be approved by The Royal Conservatory Examinations. Expenses will only be reimbursed for transportation and accommodation up to the original cost specified by The Royal Conservatory Examinations, unless prior approval is granted.

I agree to check my preliminary itinerary on The Royal Conservatory Examiners’ Portal website, and to notify the Academic Office within 48 hours if I will be unavailable to accept my examining route (a reminder email will be sent when preliminary itineraries are available). I COMMIT TO REVIEW MY EXAMINER’S PACKAGE WITHIN 48 HOURS OF RECEIPT to ensure that all of the correct materials, tickets, and information have been included.
