    • The students of The Ihnatowycz Piano Program at The Glenn Gould School are featured in an evening of dazzling works in Mazzoleni Hall at The Royal Conservatory. Tickets starting from $25

  • Summer Camps at The Royal Conservatory
    • Registration for Oscar Peterson School camps (July 2 to August 23) is already open! From musicals, to rock band to piano, band, strings or instrument-exploration camp, there’s music-making fun for everyone! Register for Summer camps.
  • May 18 | 10:00AM: The Taylor Academy Playathon
    • This free fun-filled day of performances by students of The Phil and Eli Taylor Performance Academy celebrates the close of the academic year and showcases the remarkable talents of our next generation of musicians! Join us for six hours of music making in the courtyard of The Royal Conservatory on Bloor Street! In case of rain, the festivities move inside to Mazzoleni Concert Hall. Schedule available here.
  • June 9 | 10:00AM: Oscar Peterson School’s PLAY Day
    • PLAY Day is the Oscar Peterson School of Music’s  free annual year-end event featuring fun activities throughout The Royal Conservatory all day including student recitals in Koerner Hall.  Schedule available here.

Spring Over to The Royal Conservatory!

  • April 7 | 2:00PM: ARC Ensemble: The Viennese in Los Angeles
    • The ARC Ensemble performs Erich Wolfgang Korngold’s Piano Quintet, as well as works for string quartet and clarinet by his Viennese contemporary Ernest Kanitz in Mazzoleni Hall. Tickets starting from $25
  • April 19 | 8:00PM: John Pizzarelli and Caity Gyorgy
    • Guitarist and vocalist John Pizzarelli returns to Koerner Hall with songs from Broadway and Hollywood! He is joined by two-time Juno Award-winning vocalist, Caity Gyorgy. Tickets starting from $60
  • April 20 | 8:00PM: Oumou Sangaré
    • Grammy Award-winning Oumou Sangaré will fill Koerner Hall with her buoyant West African grooves and hypnotic melodicism! Tickets starting from $45
  • April 24 | 8:00PM: Daniel Hope: Irish Roots
    • Koerner Hall favourite and virtuoso violinist Daniel Hope returns with his ensemble to explore the rich world of Irish music. Tickets starting from $55
  • May 10 | 8:00PM: Brentano String Quartet with Jonathan Biss, piano, and Joseph Conyers, bass
    • The critically acclaimed Brentano String Quartet perform Schubert and Beethoven in Koerner Hall! Tickets starting from $45.

  • April Master Classes at The Glenn Gould School
    • Our master class program is one of the finest in North America where musical artists of the highest calibre work with our students. Some of this spring's master class artists include trombonist Jörgen van Rijen (April 5), Ihnatowycz Chair in Piano, Jeremy Denk (April 12) and pianist Richard Goode (April 19 and 20)! Classes take place in either Mazzoleni Hall or Temerty Theatre.
  • Student Recitals at The Royal Conservatory
    • As part of their formal music training, students at both The Glenn Gould School and The Taylor Academy do free recitals throughout the academic year. See the April/May schedules below for each school:
      • The Glenn Gould School – The Royal Conservatory’s elite post-secondary institution focused on performance
      • The Taylor Academy – a one-of-a-kind extracurricular program for gifted musicians ages 8 – 18
  • May 3 | 8:00PM: The Royal Conservatory Orchestra with conductor Peter Oundjian
  • RoyalConservatory.Live is the RCM’s free video-on-demand platform featuring concerts filmed at The Royal Conservatory’s Koerner Hall! Recent additions include The Glenn Gould School Chamber Competition Finals and the Royal Conservatory Orchestra’s performances of Elgar and Mahler.
