GGS Performance Playlist

Holiday Bonus: A Special GGS Performance Playlist

Throughout the fall, GGS performers have been featured during a number of special online events in support of the RCM’s ongoing fundraising initiatives. Until now, their performances have only been available to those in attendance at these events, so we hope you enjoy this opportunity to experience the following performances for yourself:

  • Trumpeter Patrick Smithers (BMus ‘21) – Jeremiah Clarke’s The Prince of Denmark’s March (‘Trumpet Voluntary’)
  • Tenor River Guard & bass-baritone Korin Thomas-Smith (both Rebanks Fellows ‘20–21) - “Au fond du temple saint” from George Bizet’s Les pêcheurs de perles
  • Pianist Mariya Orlenko (BMus ‘21) – Isaac Albéniz’s Triana (de la suite Iberia)
  • Plus: The Academy Chamber Orchestra (with lead track provided by the Rolston String Quartet) – Franz Schubert’s String Quartet No. 14 in D Minor, D 810 (Death and the Maiden), Andante con moto

Consider them our special gifts to you!
