Soprano, and California native, Lindsey Pino completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance at San Diego State University. While in San Diego, she was a founding member of both the Students of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and the Student American Choral Directors Association chapters at San Diego State University. Miss Pino’s Master’s Degree in Opera Performance is from University of Texas, Austin where she premiered the first official staged and orchestrated version of Jake Heggie’s one-woman scene for soprano, At the Statue of Venus, while the composer was in residence. Her other performance credits include Musetta in La bohème, Casilda in The Goldoliers, Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Maria in The Sound of Music, and more. Miss Pino has taught private voice lessons for nearly 15 years, and she is also a conductor and an early childhood music education specialist. Miss Pino’s passion for accessible community arts education has inspired her work as an arts administrator for non-profit music and arts organizations since 2016. She was a Registrar and Program Administrator for the Early Childhood Music program at the Armstrong Community Music School in Austin, Texas for seven years and was a Program Coordinator for the Private Lesson Program at the Community School of Music and Arts in Mountain View, California prior to joining the Royal Conservatory as the Business Development Lead for the Smart Start Program.
