Professional Activities
Wendy Bachman has thirty years of private piano teaching experience, teaching beginners through advanced students of all ages. She also teaches private and group theory lessons.


Wendy's early training was with Nan Gorringe, Edward Parker, and Mary Tickner. She went on to study at the New School for Music Study with Frances Clark and Louise Goss. For her graduate studies in performance Wendy studied with Harold Zabrack.


Ms. Bachman recently attended the Summit Workshop in Vancouver, the Music Teachers' National Association conference in New York, and the Piano Teachers' Workshop at Penn State University. She attends the National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy every two years, and in 1990 was selected to teach and perform at this conference.


Wendy has been an adjudicator for The Royal Conservatory for twenty years. She has judged at the Burnaby Clef and the Kiwanis Festival of the Fraser Valley. Ms. Bachman has also been a judge at "Happy Valley's Got Talent."
Wendy Bachman is the president of the local chapter of the Music Teachers' National Association in Central Pennsylvania and is a member of the Nittany Piano Teachers' Network.
