Canadian In-Person Practical Exam Health and Safety Policies

Updated December 14, 2021

The health and safety of the RCM community continues to be our number-one priority as we transition back to in-person exams. The Royal Conservatory will adhere to federal, provincial, and local public health guidelines, with an understanding that there may be changes as warranted by local COVID protocols.

As of November 22, 2021, those who wish to access a Canadian exam center must be fully vaccinated (as defined by Government regulations). Students can be accompanied by one parent or guardian, except for voice and instrumental exams where both one parent and the collaborative pianist are allowed.

Effective September 7, 2021, the RCM implemented a Proof of Vaccination Policy in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Colleges and Education for those wishing to access our facilities at 273 Bloor Street in Toronto. Our comprehensive safety plan and building access procedures can be here and our vaccination policy is here
