Bradley Kukko

Brad Kukko

A native of Thunder Bay, Ontario Brad attained his Bachelor of Music Degree from Lakehead University in 1998. He furthered his guitar studies at the R.C.M. (Toronto) with Dr. Jeffrey McFadden from 1998 to 2007. Brad is a certified R.C.M. guitar teacher at the elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels. As a teacher Brad emphasizes development of musical artistry through a solid technical foundation. His students have received numerous regional R.C.M. gold medals for guitar and consistently win scholarships and prizes from local music festivals and the OMFA (Ontario Music Festivals Association) provincial competition. In addition to his specialty, classical nylon string guitar, Brad is experienced with acoustic steel string and electric guitar playing, instructing rock, blues, jazz, world music, vocals with guitar accompaniment, and folk styles. Mr. Kukko was the principle guitar teacher at Regent Park School of Music for 11 years from 2007 to 2018 and has over 20 years of guitar and theory teaching experience.
