Faith Covey

My love for music began as a small child as my father taught me a few pieces by ear and an aunt showed me how to read notes on the musical staff. After mainly being self-taught until I was thirteen, I understand how deeply important it is to have an inspiring teacher that motivates and encourages a student to be the best they can be. Sometimes it makes ALL the difference in the world! It is my desire to be that kind of teacher. I am focused and disciplined by nature and use these qualities to help my students goal set and achieve their goals as we study music together. I have a M aster's Degree in Sacred Music, and am currently working towards completion of my ARCT in Piano Pedagogy this year.
