Francis Garvey

I have been teaching piano for 25 years, including in my home country of Ireland, Hungary, and in Southern California. I have a small studio of private students, whom I teach mostly on the weekend. I love to teach, especially as it is a shift in perspective from my weekday job which mostly involves playing. I have taught students as young as 3 years old as well as students in their 80's. Students I have taught are very often interested in the piano as a hobby, but several of my former students have gone on to study music at third level also. I have a doctorate in piano performance from UCLA.
