Wendy holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from Western University and a Master of Music Degree from the University of Michigan. She served as Lecturer in Piano Pedagogy at the University of Michigan and Co-Cordinator of the All-State Music Program at the Interlochen Centre of the Arts. Awards include the Alice B. Kern Excellence in Teaching award and the U.W.O. Gold Medal. As a performer, she has collaborated with the Toronto Wind Orchestra, The Scaborough Bluffs Orchestra and has served as an accompanist for recitals at The University of Toronto and around the GTA. She is a proud member of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association, Canadian Music Festivals Adjudicator Association and a senior member of the College of Examiners for the Royal Conservatory of Music. In addition to her career as a freelance musician, she currently runs a private teaching studio out of the Beaches area in Toronto. Her approach to teaching is warm and supportive. She believes strongly in the importance of each student finding their own musical voice, and is grateful for the joy and inspiration her students bring to her life.
