Yuhui Wang

I became a registered voice teacher with RCM in June 2023 and begun full-time teaching of theory and repertoire for RCM Voice exam. Since 2015 I have been an opera singer working for multiple opera companies in Vancouver and China. In 2023, I received my Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of British Columbia. My study is about vocal pedagogy and Chinese art songs. I have 7+ years of teaching voice experience and 4+ years of teaching music theory experience. I teach lessons online and at my studio in Richmond, BC. My specialty lies in teaching vocal techniques, RCM voice/theory exams, and repertoire for university auditions. Over last two years, under my instructions, my students passed RCM Voice Level 10 exams, and received offers from top universities, such as, Manhattan School of Music, Indiana University, Berklee College of Music, the University of Toronto, McGill University, the University of British Columbia, and universities in China. In March, 2024, one of my students is invited and will be singing famous soprano aria, Quando me'n vo, at Carnegie Hall in New York. 2023年6月，我成为RCM的一名注册声乐老师，并开始系统教授RCM考级。自2015年起，作为一名职业歌剧演员,我与温哥华歌剧院，温哥华市歌剧院，等温哥华歌剧公司多次合作。2023年我毕业于英属哥伦比亚大学，获得声乐博士学位。我的博士研究领域是声乐教学法，以及中国艺术歌曲。 我有7年的声乐以及4年乐理教学经验。我的教学领域为声乐技巧，RCM考级，以及为学生准备大学面试曲目和申请。过去两年，我的学生分别通过了10级RCM声乐考级，以及获得多个世界顶尖音乐学院的offer，比如曼哈顿音乐学院，印第安纳大学，伯克利音乐学院，多伦多大学，麦吉尔大学，英属哥伦比亚大学，以及多个中国的顶尖音乐学院。2024年3月，我的学生将在世界著名的纽约卡内基音乐厅受邀演唱女高音经典独唱曲目《漫步街上》。
