I was a bassoonist with the National Centre for the Performing Arts Orchestra for five years. I hold a postgraduate concert diploma ('Konzertexamen') which is the highest possible performance degree in Germany. I was the recipient of multiple awards, including the top honor in the International Bassoon Ensemble Competition held by the International Bassoon Association in France, and the first place prize in the inaugural Bassoon Solo Competition at the Central Conservatory of Music in China. I have also been honored with the esteemed 'Mönnig & Adler' Scholarship.
Some of my works that have been officially released include a compilation of bassoon quartets (distributed by China Records Corp), as well as a set of audio demonstrations for the China Central Conservatory of Music External Music Level Test for bassoon.
As a principal bassoonist, I have performed with multiple orchestras such as the China Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Asian Youth Orchestra. Additionally, I have been invited to perform as the guest principal bassoonist for the China Central Opera House Symphony Orchestra, the Qingdao Symphony Orchestra, the Harbin Symphony Orchestra, and the Wuhan Philharmonic Orchestra. My students in China have achieved great success by winning multiple awards and securing positions in professional orchestras.
