Allison Wiebe teaches senior piano (levels 7 and up), piano pedagogy (elementary to advanced), and theory: rudiments, harmony, and history. She coaches chamber ensembles and accompanying skills. At Western University in London, Ontario, Allison conducted piano literature courses for undergraduates.

She studied with James Anagnoson and John Hess at Western and Boris Lysenko at The Royal Conservatory in Toronto, and participated in multiple master-class summer programs across North America.

Allison Wiebe assists in running an annual week-long summer workshop for youths to create music with the CONTACT Contemporary Music ensemble and visiting composers. CONTACT contemporary music is dedicated to the creation, production, and presentation of contemporary music, with a focus on Canadian music.

Allison has acted as a senior and junior piano adjudicator at festivals across North America and at local Alliance for Canadian New Music Projects and ORMTA competitions.
As a soloist Ms. Wiebe was a semi-finalist for the 24th Annual Eckhardt-Gramatté National Music Competition for the Performance of Canadian Music, receiving a grant from the Canada Council to attend. As a collaborative musician she performed on piano, keyboards, and melodica with the CONTACT Contemporary Music ensemble in Toronto. In the Fall of 2011 Ms. Wiebe recorded the solo piano and chamber works of Jordon Nobles and Brian Eno, and was nominated for the Western Canada Music Award. Allison Wiebe is part of the xTrio chamber ensemble (flute, clarinet, piano) in London, a new ensemble dedicated to commissioning new works and recruiting forces for Western. In addition she is the resident accompanist of the London Fanshawe Symphonic Chorus Organization.
