Beth Brownell Eaton is a passionate and dedicated individual who has worked for several musical and educational institutions since graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Music in 2015. In 2018, Beth completed the Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Music Education through The Royal Conservatory of Music & Toronto Metropolitan University. In 2023, she graduated from University of Toronto OISE with a Master of Arts in Child Study & Education along with an OCT certification to teach K-6 in Ontario.
 
Beth is a teacher with the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board in the Primary and Junior divisions and a faculty member of The Royal Conservatory of Music as a Smart Start Instructor for young children and adults. As a Smart Start Mentor, Beth trains aspiring music educators in Smart Start pedagogy. She has also taught the recorder component (Parts 1-3) of the Music AQ for elementary school teachers looking to expand their knowledge of music since 2021.
 
Beth has trained in Kodály, Dalcroze, and Orff pedagogies and was further certified as an Orff (Level 3) Specialist in the summer of 2019. Focusing on self-regulatory, cognitive, language, and social skill development using music, she uses voice, flute, piano, and her strong knowledge of music theory and history to provide children with the tools necessary to succeed in music and build life skills long-term.
