Lev Marder
Lev Marder
Lev Marder is an interdisciplinary scholar and educator examining how the boundaries of inclusion/exclusion are re-drawn through legal, un/democratic, and discoursive means both domestically (in Canada) and internationally. His career exemplifies the modern peripatetic model of academic life: intellectually mobile, pedagogically versatile, and deeply interdisciplinary. Drawing on experiences in diverse academic environments, Lev has developed a distinctive teaching philosophy centred on dialogue, civic engagement, and co-creation of knowledge. His work, appearing both in peer-reviewed journals and public forums, bridges academic theory and the lived realities of governance, justice, and social belonging.
