Nishreena is a distinguished professor specializing in Business Management, Finance, and Entrepreneurship. With over a decade of academic and professional experience in Canada and the UK, her teaching career spans several respected institutions, including the University of Toronto, McMaster University, Yorkville University, Algoma University, Humber College, Durham College, Lambton College, and The London School of Commerce (UK). She also serves as an entrepreneurial mentor with Futurpreneur Canada. Nishreena is dedicated to voluntary service and has provided board leadership at the YWCA in her capacity as a member of the YWCA Finance Committee.
Nishreena is known for blending academic rigour with practical business insights and is deeply committed to equipping the future leaders and innovators of tomorrow with the business acumen and entrepreneurial skills they need to succeed. In addition to her academic portfolio, Nishreena also holds a micro-credential in Entrepreneurship and Small Business and provides consultancy for small business enterprises.
Her research interest focuses on cross-cultural experiential learning pedagogy and social enterprise. Driven by a passion for innovation, education, and mentorship, Nishreena continues to contribute to both academic excellence and entrepreneurial ecosystems.
