Firdaus Orchestra, an initiative of Expo City Dubai, is the region’s first of its kind all-female ensemble, The visionary concept was born during Expo 2020 Dubai and became a symbol of creativity, excellence, and cultural diversity. The orchestra brings together around 50 exceptional musicians from over 24 nationalities, uniting their talents to deliver mesmerizing performances that transcend borders.
With a primary objective of making orchestral performances more accessible to the UAE community, Firdaus Orchestra has set a new standard for orchestral music in the region. With a repertoire that seamlessly blends Western classical compositions, Arabic classics, and contemporary pieces, the orchestra has captivated audiences with its dynamic and innovative sound.
Firdaus Orchestra has performed on some of the most prestigious stages, sharing the spotlight with global icons like Beyoncé, Andrea Bocelli, Christina Aguilera, and Yo-Yo Ma. Beyond performances, the orchestra is dedicated to music education and community engagement, inspiring the next generation through school visits, workshops, and mentorship programs.
As the resident orchestra of Expo City Dubai, Firdaus Orchestra rehearses out of its permanent home Firdaus Studio, a world-class recording and production space.
