Andrew holds ARCT diplomas in both Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy from the Royal Conservatory of Toronto and a Licentiate diploma in Piano Performance from Trinity College of Music, London, England. Andrew also has a Bachelor's degree in music composition from the University of Toronto. He is Royal Conservatory certified teacher and is a member of the Royal Conservatory College of Examiners and the Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association. Andrew also completed the Audio Engineering and Production program at Metalworks Institute and has received two Canadian Screen Awards and four Directors Guild Awards for his work in sound editing. Andrew has over thirty years experience in teaching piano and music theory. He believes that learning music should be fun and Andrew employs many "tricks of the trade" to motivate practicing.
