Angel Maria Jovellanos

Growing up with a mother who taught piano all her life gave me the interest and passion to teach music. I began only teaching young students which helped me learn how different everyone can be. Learning hands on with how to teach young minds and mold them into little pianists made me realize how much I loved teaching. As i gained more experience and completed my RCM examinations I took on young adults to seniors that just simply wanted to learn for fun. I have been teaching piano and theory for 10 years and I am currently level 10 RCM but still eager to learn more. I feel with music theres always more to learn and improve on which is way I am constantly trying to better myself as a teacher to give my students the best guidance I can offer. I teach in a private studio with my mom and we work as a team to help anyone that wants to do the RCM examinations or to just simply learn music for your own enjoyment. With the pandemic we have moved lessons to online but once restrictions get lifted and COVID numbers decline we plan to still offer online lessons along with our in person lessons for our students.
