In 1975 I received a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Regina. and I earned a Masters Degree in flute performance from the University of Arizona in 1980. While there I was a teaching assistant to Jean-Louis Kashy and also earned the principal flute position with Arizona Opera. Since returning to Canada I have been a member of the Edmonton Wind Sinfonia and currently play flute and piccolo in the Saskatoon Symphony. I have many years of teaching experience as a private flute and piccolo teacher and a sessional lecturer at the University of Saskatchewan. Many of my students have received gold or silver medals from the RCM.
