Caara Yeung

My students have consistently achieved excellent results, with an average exam score of no lower than 87. In 2025, one of my top students was awarded the Regional Gold Medal from The Royal Conservatory of Music for earning the highest mark in their grade across Ontario. I emphasize building a strong foundation through careful attention to embouchure, tone, breathing, technique, and articulation, as well as developing musical understanding, ear training, rhythmic accuracy, and stylistic awareness. Many of my students have won local competitions, earned top music GPAs in high school, gained admission to leading universities across Canada, and successfully joined ensembles such as TYWO (Toronto Youth Wind Orchestra).
