I started teaching piano when I was 12 years old. I continued teaching piano and theory students throughout my high school years as a part time job on Saturdays. I continued teaching while studying and taking lessons in University. I often rode my bicycle to the students' homes to teach. For 25 years, I taught music in the Coquitlam School District and has also maintained a part time piano studio. My music job at school involved teaching guitar, recorder, choir, and music appreciation, as well as organizing concerts and recitals. Since retirement, I have continued some teaching and have enjoyed the musical journey that has brought me this far.
