Caroline Jang

A National and a Provincial Gold Medalist Teacher appointed by the Royal Conservatory of Music every consecutive year from 2014 to 2022, Caroline Jang completed both of her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from University of British Columbia. Ms. Jang has been featured as a soloist with renowned orchestras and festivals such as Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra, Vancouver Opera Orchestra, Okanagan Symphony Orchestra, Northern Czech Philharmonic, Bard on the Beach Festival, West Ben Arts Festival, Homeground Festival at Oppenheimer Park, 2010 Vancouver Olympics and many more. Her operatic roles span from Adele (Die Fledermaus), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Gretel (Hansel and Gretel) to Pamina (Die Zauberflöte). Also in demand for solo work, she has performed Johannes Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem, Frigyes Hidas’ Requiem, Handel’s Messiah, J.S.Bach’s Johannes Passion, and J.S.Bach’s Magnificat. She is an alumna of Vancouver Opera In Schools, Pre-Professional Internship Program with Vancouver Opera, European Music Academy, Banff Theatre for Arts, and more. She has been recognized with many awards and grants including ‘Toni Cavelti Trust Fund’ and ‘Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyricques’. Ms. Jang currently serves as a Voice, Piano, and Early Music Education faculty member at the Vancouver Academy of Music.
