Carolyn Wakeford

I enjoy teaching people of all ages to "LOVE MUSIC!" I opened my music studio in the Town of Strathmore in 1997 and ever since then I've experienced the joy of seeing my students embrace music and have fun doing it. I currently teach Piano and Theory, along with Ear Training and Sight Reading to help all my students to become well rounded musicians. During Covid-19 I became an RCM Certified On-line Teacher so I currently teach on-line and some in-person lessons depending on the circumstances, in my studio. I CURRENTLY HAVE OPENINGS AVAILABLE FOR NEW STUDENTS. Many of my students have gone on to learn additional instruments in addition to Piano. Others have pursued music careers, some are now music teachers, others have won prestigious music recording contracts from "MUCH MUSIC" and others have used their piano education to branch off into other areas of music such as singing opera on broadway. My goal is to make music learning fun and exciting and to help you develop a love for music that will remain with you for a lifetime.
