I started Peery Piano Academy in 2001. Our Academy provides a detailed musical habits from the very beginning. Our curriculum is based on the Peery Method: a system of attaching language, symbols, and motions to specific sounds. The result is refined, controlled, beautiful playing that is accessible to all students regardless of natural musical ability. Our studio offers both group lessons and individual lessons (based on availability). More than a music school, we are a community of musicians dedicated to nurturing every student’s strengths and passions. Peery students range from award-winning competitors to vibrant jazz musicians to casual pop music players and everything in-between. Our certification structure, method, and student involvement set us apart. As a teaching academy, our students have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills through our unique training programs. With a teaching lineage traceable to Bach and Beethoven, there is no limit to what our students can accomplish. Peery develops the skills and techniques to succeed, but, most importantly, instills confidence and curiosity in young musicians. We look forward to being part of your musical journey.
