Diana Dallal

Diana Dallal

I grew up in Montreal and studied with the Royal Conservatory. Subsequently I joined the United States Air Force Band, where I learned to play jazz, improvise and arrange lead sheets, as well as play in the rock band. It was a very rich musical experience. Afterwards, I ended up as a Training Manager in the Air Force, where I ran the training program for a C-141 Aircraft Maintenance Facility. It was a lot of fun. When I got out of the Air Force, I subsequently worked as an Administrative Assistant, while I also played for high school musicals, Peninsula Pops Orchestra in the Bay Area, Chamber Groups, accompanied choirs, lead worship in churches. I have a VERY rich musical background. As a result, I like to work with my students and share that rich experience with them. We play together in the studio, we improvise, I encourage my student to play by ear, and we play music we all love to share together. I also love that the Royal Conservatory with the theory and ear training requirements helped me a lot in all of my musical goals.
