I have enjoyed guiding children and adults in private, and classroom, sessions for many years. I strongly believe that everyone needs the experience of making music in their life and that is why I find it important to share my knowledge and skills with others. In addition to traditional education, I have also enjoyed taking part in various workshops including; the folk music workshops at the Swannanoa Gatherings in North Carolina, the jazz workshops with Jamey Aebersold, and traditional music workshops at the South Sligo School in Tubbercurry. I am currently teaching through online platforms to students within the U.S. and in person to those locally in Charleston SC. Whether you are a beginner, a professional looking for coaching, or someone returning to music in later life, I look forward to meeting you and working with you toward your music goals.
