Emily Jou

Emily holds an ARCT in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music, graduating with First Class Honours. She has performed as a soloist with the Chilliwack Metropolitan Orchestra and the Abbotsford Youth Orchestra, and is also the resident pianist at the Chilliwack Metropolitan Orchestra. Emily has represented Chilliwack at the BC Provincial Festival and regularly wins awards at the Chilliwack Music Festival. She regularly holds solo recitals at Elim Village and Chilliwack Elder College. Equally skilled as a collaborative pianist, Emily acts as accompanist for the Fraser Valley Philomusica Chorus, Chilliwack RE: Action Choir, Leary Elementary School Choir, and the award-winning Unsworth Elementary and Promontory Heights Elementary School Choir. Emily maintains a full studio at the Chilliwack Academy of Music, teaching piano and theory.
