I have been teaching Western Classical music, as well as other genres, for the past 15 years. My primary instrument is piano, and I have been playing, performing, and recording, for 30 years. I have worked with students of all ages, and levels of ability. Due to my students' excellent performance in all exams, practical, and theoretical, I am in the top tier of RCM Teachers in North America.
I had the great privilege of studying with the late Andrew Markow, former head designer of the RCM curriculum, and co-author of the Four Star Sight-Reading Books, both in Piano Performance, at the Royal Conservatory of Music, as well as at the Faculty of Music, University of Toronto. I hold an ARCT in Piano Performance, as well as a Bachelor's in Music Education.
My classes are energetic, flexible, goal-oriented, and tailored to fit my students' needs and interests, whether they are in Western Classical Music, or other genres.
Please feel free to contact me to set up a lesson. I am currently located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
