Gina Lee

Hello! I’m a pianist and educator with a broad and diverse background in the performing arts. During my doctoral studies, I extensively taught collegiate-level students, teaching applied piano lessons to both music majors and non-majors, coaching chamber music ensembles, and leading studio classes to prepare students for performances and juries.

Today, my work as a performer center primarily on collaborative music-making with instrumentalists and vocalists. This focus has deepened my appreciation for classical music and the rich and varied repertoire it offers. At the heart of my performance activity is a strong foundation in technique, musical understanding, and analytical thinking—principles instilled in me by my own teachers that continue to guide my work as both a performer and educator. I am passionate about sharing these tools with students in a way that is clear, supportive, and empowering.

Every student comes to the piano with different goals, and I believe learning should be shaped around each individual. My aim is for students to leave every lesson with a clear focus for the week, growing confidence and independence in their practice, and developing a thoughtful and natural command of the instrument.

Music study is a lifelong journey—one filled with challenges, discovery, and joy—and I am honored to support students at any stage of that path. If you’d like to learn more about studying with me or to set up a trial lesson, please feel free to reach out by email. I look forward to getting to know you and being part of your musical journey.
