Hannah Marple

Hannah Marple

Hannah is passionate about bringing music to life by nurturing a curiosity in students that connects with real life. She is a registered music teacher in Saskatoon and has been teaching piano and theory since 2008 to all ages of students, in schools and at her home studio. She received her ATCL performance diploma from the Trinity College of London in Vancouver in 2017, became an RCM Elementary Piano Specialist in 2019, and a certified Music For Young Children teacher in 2020. She continues to grow pursuing another diploma in piano pedagogy with Kathleen Lohrenz Gable, in addition to solo studies with Bonnie Nicholson. Besides teaching, Hannah has worked with youth at the Summer Academy for Voice and Piano, presented at the International Conference for Music For Young Children, serves on the Saskatoon Registered Music Teacher’s board, and adjudicates for the Saskatchewan Music Festival Association. She thoroughly enjoys collaborating with other artists, choirs, and instruments, takes voice lessons and especially enjoys working together with her duet partner at the piano. She believes in creating and sharing an environment for students to discover how music is relevant in every day life. Away from the piano, Hannah is usually found outdoors – skiing, running or cycling along the South Saskatchewan River!
