Ichinkhorloo Batnasan

Ichinkhorloo (Ichko) Batnasan is an internationally trained pianist, piano pedagogue, and arts administrator based in San Francisco. She holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from San Francisco State University and an MBA from Sofia University. Her teaching is deeply influenced by the European classical piano tradition, combined with modern pedagogical approaches tailored to each student’s artistic and technical development.

Ichko is a Board Member of the Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC), San Francisco Branch, and an active member of both MTAC and the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). She is also a Registered Teacher with The Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM), Canada, preparing students for internationally recognized examination systems.

She maintains an official Steinway Educational Partnership with Steinway & Sons Gallery in San Francisco, where she regularly organizes student recitals and educational performance events. Her students have earned top prizes in regional, national, and international piano competitions, reflecting her commitment to high-level artistic training and mentorship.

Through her teaching, performance, and leadership roles, Ichko is dedicated to fostering musical excellence, discipline, and personal growth in the next generation of musicians while contributing meaningfully to the cultural life of the community.
