Jenaya Page has had the privilege of teaching for over two decades. At age sixteen, she opened her own music studio where she delivered private lessons and hosted regular student recitals. Jenaya believes that while hard work pays off, the best way to learn is to have fun doing it! While accuracy, technical skill and theory comprehension are at the forefront, her philosophy is that music is highly individual. That’s why she encourages her students to develop their musical instincts and to cultivate their individual talents. Each student is encouraged to reach their full potential as artists, to cultivate a life-long love of music, and to ultimately enjoy sharing it with others. While taking examinations is not required, her students frequently achieve First Class Honours on RCM Exams. In addition to teaching piano, she has worked with kids and teens in many capacities including volunteering with at-risk youth and assisting children with Autism and ADD. Lessons available in the English Bay area, and at Showcase Academy - W Broadway and Aberdeen (Richmond) locations.
