Jennie Higgins

I have been teaching beginner to intermediate piano and theory for over 20 years now. I teach beginners up to Grade 8 RCM from age 4 to adult. I taught in NW Calgary until Dec 2020 when I moved to NW Airdrie. I am excited to continue my teaching journey in the city of Airdrie. My heart and goal for each student is that they fall in love (Adamo) with piano. Although, learning to play well is important. Loving what they do is my ultimate goal. Therefore through practice, music theory, music games, activities and any other means that I customize to each student. I teach each student the art of music through playing the piano. Each of my students will find joy in playing, the discipline of practicing and the focus & clarity it brings as they learn and bring it into their world. I am always learning myself to become a better teacher with updated materials, furthering my own education and more.
