Jimmy Tao

Jimmy has been teaching piano for 22 years and is very active in the community theatre world. He has been music director/conductor/rehearlsal pianist/audition pianist/keyboardist for over 45 shows over the last 5 years. Recently he has worked with Unionville Theatre Company (Beauty and the Beast 2019), Theatre Aurora (If/Then and Asssasins 2018 and 2019). He routinely does sight reading competitions for fun and to see how well he can read under pressure. Jimmy's studio "Tao of Music" in Aurora has been running since 2005 and is all about showing students how to have fun with music. By performing outside of lessons so regularly, students can see what it possible by seeing their teacher in action.
