Joyce Yiu

I have been playing the flute for over nine years. I have completed the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM) in Grade 8 Flute, equivalent to the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) grade 10. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Media Arts from York University, with a minor in flute performance, and I aspire to convey my passion for music through teaching.
With over five years of teaching experience, I believe that music holds immense value for everyone, as it is a universal source of joy. I adovacate for the idea that consistent practice leads to mastering an instrument and true growth arises from satisfaction and appreciation. Therefore, fostering joy and happiness among my students, regardless of age, is of utmost importance to me. I am excited to share my love of music and explore this musical journey with everyone.
