Judith Elliott

My teaching experience covers over 40 years. I have taught students from 4 years of age to 72. Many have successfully completed exams and played in festivals. A number have set up studios of their own or have pursued music for the purpose of teaching in school settings. More importantly many have continued playing for their own pleasure throughout their adult lives. Along with teaching I have enjoyed accompanying soloists , other vocal groupings , instrumentalists and choirs in church and Festival settings. Music has been my passion since Junior High and I continue to study with a mentor to learn more of the vast repertoire of the piano literature. Reading about music, attending conferences and, most recently, listening to webinars are ways I like to keep current. I wish to encourage a love of music for life in all my students no matter the vocation they choose.
