Students at Julia Jacklein's music studio in Burlington, ON, learn through a fun and hands-on approach, using creative activities, improvisation, and postural exercises. Some members of Julia's studio take Royal Conservatory exams or participate in competitions with great success. Others prefer to develop their skills through performances but without the pressure of exams or competitions. Each student is encouraged to develop at their own pace.
Over the years Julia has taught preschoolers to 90-year-olds, helping each person to develop a wide variety of musical strengths and interests. One of her special skills is teaching atypical learners or those requiring extra learning support. These students have been very successful in the studio, learning to read music confidently, performing in recitals, and taking exams.
Julia is committed to offering the highest quality music education to everyone, and to nurturing in each student a lasting love of music.
