Karyne Bury

Karyne Bury has a collective 30 yeas experience in music a student, performer and instructor. Ms. Bury’s dedication to music education led to the founding of Major Scale Music Lessons in August 2011, and in her role as lead instructor she has taught 45 private students to date, students all ages and all levels. Utilizing various teaching methods and literatures, including the Faber, Bastien and Alfred’s method books, and the Brain Based Piano Method, Ms. Bury instills a holistic approach to music understanding and appreciation - encompassing performance with theory, sight reading, ear training. Students of Major Scale participate in recital performances, competitions and assessments, including the Royal Conservatory Music Development Program (www.rcmusic.com).
