Katharina Normandeau

I believe there is music in everyone . It gives me great pleasure to share the joy of making music with my students. The piano is a great instrument to explore sound and rhythm. I have been playing piano since I was 5 years old. My experience in school bands and choirs have led me to understand how music connects so many aspects of our lives and development. My second instrument is clarinet but I also sing, write songs, play violin and cello. I also tune and repair pianos as an equal passion. The latter has made me aware of the effect of resonance on a room, in a studio, and on the pupil. There are many layers to music. It is never too early or too late to begin the adventure.
