Music has been a meaningful part of my life from a young age. My own journey, shaped by discipline, perseverance, and growth, deeply informs how I teach today.

After returning to piano following a pause in my studies, I achieved First Class Honours with Distinction in Level 10 Piano and later First Class Honours for my ARCT Diploma in Piano Performance. That experience taught me that meaningful progress comes from structure, intention, and consistent effort—values I now pass on to my students.

Parents choose to work with me because I teach more than notes and exams. I help students develop strong practice and studying habits, time management, focus, and confidence. Skills that carry into school and daily life.

Lessons are firmly grounded in the RCM curriculum and thoughtfully tailored to each student’s learning style. Students leave each lesson knowing exactly how and what to practice at home, so families are never left guessing. Music theory lessons are taught online, and students also leave each lesson knowing exactly what to work on. Parents are cc'd on the end-of-lesson recap email.


My background in Psychology, combined with formal training in piano pedagogy, allows me to teach with both musical depth and an understanding of how children learn and stay motivated. I create a supportive, structured environment where students feel safe making mistakes, learning from them, and growing. I focus on helping students understand why concepts work, enabling them to apply their knowledge confidently across repertoire and written work.

I prepare students carefully for exams while fostering a growth mindset that empowers them to face challenges with confidence.
