Lee Dennie

Lee graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Music degree, majoring in theory. Lee studied piano under Professor Janet Hoyt. Some of Lee’s musical endeavours include performing in a handbell choir (travelled to Japan for the International Handbell Symposium), singing in several church choirs, performing and touring with the University of Alberta Concert Choir, and accompanying other artists on piano. Lee has been teaching piano since 1980 and offers a diverse curriculum of musical styles, including classical and contemporary music (RCM), folk music, pop music, as well as the exploration of blues, and encouraging creativity through composition. Lee offers preparation for piano and theory examinations through RCM. Lee offers weekly one-on-one lessons (30/45/60 minutes) for students of all ages in her own private teaching studio. Lee is presently accepting new students.
