Lifia Teguh is a highly accomplished pianist, composer, and educator with a diverse career in performance, teaching, and composition. With teaching experience at prestigious institutions like the University of Toronto (CAN), Portland State University (USA), and Linfield University (USA) Lifia is passionate about inspiring a lifelong love of music in her students.
Recently, she was a musician-in-residence at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity and has performed Ravel’s Piano Concerto with the Corvallis-OSU Symphony Orchestra. Lifia’s music has been featured on All Classical Portland Radio’s "Thursday @ Three" series, and her compositions have been enjoyed by audiences in the USA, Canada, and Indonesia.
Since 2009, Lifia has been teaching piano and music to students of all ages and skill levels across Indonesia, the USA, and Canada. She tailors each lesson to meet the individual needs of her students, fostering creativity, artistry, and technical growth. Lifia holds degrees in Music Technology and Digital Media from the University of Toronto, as well as Master’s degrees in Piano Performance and Collaborative Piano from Portland State University.
