I believe that everyone’s life can be enriched through learning to play an instrument. Whether you begin as a young child, an adolescent or an adult, learning piano benefits the mind, body and creative spirit. My first priority is to create a welcoming, caring and nurturing learning environment, with fun and engaging age-appropriate lessons. Instruction is tailored to suit each student’s learning style. Throughout more than 35 years of teaching piano and theoretical subjects, I have continually reviewed and renewed my teaching practice to meet the needs of my students: young (or not so young) beginners, adolescents, advanced students preparing for university auditions, and adults. Each age range and stage of learning presents unique opportunities for musical growth and development to be nurtured and enjoyed.
